Cellular Safety

Teens and cars...

The combination has never been more risky than it is today. And the cell phone has added one more dangerous distraction for these inexperienced drivers. According to a recent study by the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project, 25% percent of U.S. teens ages 16 to 17 who have cell phones admitted to texting while driving, and twice as many say they have been in the car with someone who has. This and other driving distractions have been the cause of at least 5,870 fatalities and 515,000 injuries in the past year, according the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Cell Cease™ is a proactive option for parents who want to ensure young drivers are keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the steering wheel.

Designed for teen safety and parents peace of mind, Cell Cease™ will intercept calls and text messages while a car is in motion. However, it will allow them to make and receive calls from a list of allowed callers which the parents control using a PIN number. Emergency calls to 911 are always allowed.
